Over the last few weeks we have begun to ease ourselves back into the ‘new normal’ and as lock-down restrictions continue to lift, small businesses across Liverpool start to adapt and develop in order to embrace those changes.
At MYST we are extremely proud to support 26 of those small businesses within our Business Hub.
Those of you who are familiar with MYST and the services we provide will know that we work with young people between the ages of 18-35 who have a business idea but need support to get started.
In the midst of lock-down, our MYST-ers remained strong
Each business within our hub is different and unique in their own way but the one thing that unites them all is the drive and determination to make their business a success.
Throughout lock-down our hub remained open to allow our businesses to access their office spaces and they continued to receive support remotely from our team of staff as they worked from home.
Our team was successful in securing emergency funding to offer our MYST-ers a rent free period as many struggled financially due to the downturn in business.
But our MYST-ers remained strong and determined with many of them continuing to work from their offices during lock-down.
They’ve been able to continue to grow their businesses and adapt their services in order to not only survive but also thrive!
The Next Chapter……..
Now we are beginning to see our Business Hub spring back to life and we’ve been delighted to welcome a new start up into the hub!
We’re planning to take our unemployment courses online in order to reach out and help as many young people as possible and we’re in the process of setting up a You Tube Channel!
