Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit we’ve become increasingly aware that there has been one major element missing at MYST – our social events!

Over the years these events have been a chance for our start up businesses to meet each other and chat about their experiences as entrepreneurs – they’ve always been a really important element so we were very keen to bring them back as soon as possible!

In March we set the date for the relaunch of our coffee mornings which we renamed ‘MYST’er BEAN Coffee & Catch Up. If you are a small business owner you’ll understand the importance of coffee – early starts, late nights so we wanted to source a local coffee supplier – we found Crosby Coffee who were kind enough to supply us with a machine and a bag of their finest coffee which went down really well!

For this month’s coffee morning (April) we invited Aimee Elizabeth Coaching to come and speak to our start up businesses about mindset and anxiety management – this was a really insightful workshop and it really helped our businesses to open up about their own experiences, we hope to work with Aimee again in the future!

We are always looking for guest speakers who might like to speak at our events so if this is something you’d be interested in please contact us.

And Finally………………………….

On 26th April MYST Celebrated 10 years in operation! We plan on having a proper celebration in the next few months but to sum up – it’s been an incredible 10 years, we’ve been lucky enough to receive a wealth of support from some amazing organisations including The Rank Foundation, LCVS, The Steve Morgan Foundation and Charles Brotherton Trust.
