Over the next few weeks MYST will be engaging with young people in the local community to raise awareness of the support we can give to those young people aged 18 and over who want to start their own business. We’ll be distributing this letter along with further information on the services MYST can provide.

“Dear Class of 2020,
We know that this year hasn’t gone according to plan..no one predicted this.
The leavers day, the school prom, the awards ceremonies…..couldn’t happen for most but what has happened is that you’ve grown in strength and resilience. Do things seem a little uncertain right now?
In some cases they will, you may have left education with no real action plan or direction when it comes to what the ‘next step’ should be….BUT here’s the thing…
You are incredible, you are unique and you are part of a year in history that will never be forgotten, one tinged with sorrow and heartache for some but one that has brought us together to show a united front.
YOU are important to us – the local community who have your back, they want to see you thrive and there are organisations that are ready to support you – MYST being one of them.
You’ve probably walked past our building before, maybe you’ve noticed us or maybe you haven’t but we’ve been helping young people like you (from age 18 upwards) who had a business idea and needed guidance to take that idea and turn it into a working model.
We also run courses and workshops for those of you who want to gain new skills and learn more about Marketing and running a business successfully. These courses are completely free, all we ask is that those attending them are aged 18 upwards.
We’ve helped over 200 young people start their own business and been part of their development, we’ve seen them at their most vulnerable when it all seemed too much and we’ve seen them flourish to go on and run a successful business, employ staff, win prestigious awards and become everything we knew they could be and more!
