If you haven’t been to MYST before, see below for some basic instructions to accompany the Google Map search that you’ve probably already done to get to Westminster Road! MYST is in the same building as LA Productions / The ACTION Centre.

Address: The Old St Lawrence School, Westminster Road, Kirkdale, L4 3TQ
Car park entrance is in Leighton St, Liverpool L4 3TY opposite Smeaton St, Liverpool L4 3SN (this is probably the best postcode for SatNav for driving)

By car

If coming from the “Goodison Park” or “Everton Park Sports Centre” end of Westminster Road

  • if coming along Barlow Lane from Goodison, make sure you turn right just after the Texaco garage into the “north” section of Westminster Road
  • if coming from Liverpool/Everton Park Sports Centre, make sure you bear left just before the Texaco garage into the “north” section of  Westminster Road
  • turn right into Leighton St

or from the “Kirkdale Station” end of Westminster Road

  • turn left into Leighton St.

Once on Leighton St, turn right into the school.

PLEASE NOTE: If the automatic gate is closed, enter the code (you will need to call us for this) on the keypad to the right of the gate and then press ENTER

There is ample parking as you turn into the school gates or if you follow the “playground” round to the front of the school.

On foot / via public transport

MYST is a 5 minute walk from Kirkdale Merseyrail Station and is served by bus service 58 on Westminster Road.

  • the “school gates” are on Westminster Road in front of the main entrance/ACTION Centre sign
  • the gates are open 09.00-17.00 – if you are coming outside of these hours, please call us

Entering/leaving the building

Once at the main entrance

  • please call us or press the MYST buzzer and we will come and let you in (please do NOT buzz LA Productions)
  • you will need to sign in to the Visitor’s Book (including your car registration number)

When leaving, we will let you out at the main entrance and then

  • if on foot, simply leave via the “school gates”
  • if by car, drive back round to the car park gates, pull up into the white box and the gate will open automatically

Information for MYST Business Visitors

  • if you don’t already, you should provide your visitors with your mobile number to call you direct when they get here
  • any “ad hoc” visitors will be required to press the MYST buzzer at the main door – this will come through directly to our office and if appropriate, we will let them in
  • we will check the swipe board and if you are not here, then they will need to call you from the reception area
